Google adds Linux support to voice and video chat

According to a post on the Official Gmail Blog by Google Software Engineer Tristan Schmelcher, support for Linux was the developers "top video chat request". Voice and video chat for Linux currently supports Ubuntu and other Debian-based distributions. Reportedly, RPM support is coming soon.
Linux users can download the plug-in from gmail.com/videochat.
