Molo mhlobo, unjani? – Hello friend, how are you?

Molo = Hello (to 1 person any time of day or night),

mhlobo = friend,

u = you (pronounced “oo”. Can also mean he or she!),

njani? = how?

Note that the HL sound in MHLOBO is made by air passing along the sides of the tongue (not on the palate). It’s like the sound of frying eggs!
