Custom Page Extensions Allows you to add a custom extension to your page URLs such as .php or .html. This only affects pages created under the Pages menu and not your posts, category or tag URLs.
The benefits in terms of SEO are great when moving a static or existing website to a wordpress blog or wordpress cms installation.

Note: The plugin must be activated after changing permalinks in order to work. Great for pages SEO especially when moving from a static site with existing pages. Not sure why it has so little downloads.
